MAGNEBED.

PUT IT WHERE YOU NEED IT.

What is it?

The Magnebed trap stand is a revolutionary foothold placement device that allows a trap to be placed virtually anywhere. When you are being paid to solve problems, you can not just move on to another location when animals become wise to exposed body grip traps and snares, and in those instances, fully concealed footholds are the “end game”.

How does it work?

Using special powerful magnets, the trap is held solid and secure - in fact a beaver can stand anywhere on the trap without any rocking or movement, yet when a catch is made it instantly and fully releases the trap.

How and when is it used?

The Magnebed ncomes attached to a socket base that will allow up to a 1 inch stake of wood, steel rod, or any other material to be inserted. Wood stakes found at the set location work best in most situations. With the socket base removed, the top can be attached with screws or wire to different surfaces or objects depending on the situation. When faced with soft mud full of sticks, like in front of a beaver dam, fthis foothold beaver trap stabilizer makes bedding solid fast and easy, just attach a piling stick or rod and with the trap attached to the stabilizer push it down to proper level.

The Magnebed excels at making traps rock solid in very soft bottom conditions that would otherwise be difficult or require extensive site modification to properly bed the trap. Not only that, but even in “loon poo” soft conditions, you have full vertical control of the trap level, enabling the trap to be held level with or just under the surface of the bottom. Oh, and the “footprint” of the holder is smaller than than the trap, so unlike hardware cloth “trays”, the trap can be placed solidly anyplace the trap will fit - the stabilization relies on a vertical piling rather than a large surface area.

When placing traps in areas where the mud has rock cobbles or sticks, like in front of a beaver dam or even in rip-rap, the piling can be driven down between the sticks or boulders without needing to remove them (which can be next to impossible in some cases) so the trap will not rock back and forth.
